Fletcher Street House is a three-storey heritage residence positioned on a constrained site overlooking Bondi Beach, with panoramic 180-degree coastal views. With limited lateral openings, the design centres on a sculptural staircase that draws natural light deep into the plan, establishing a strong vertical connection between levels while becoming a tactile and spatial focal point.

The ground and upper living areas are composed as calm, contained environments, defined by a muted material palette that contrasts with the brightness and openness of the surrounding coastal outlook. Soft finishes and considered detailing create a relaxed interior atmosphere, offering moments of retreat from the crisp, sun-filled views beyond.

At the upper level, the parental retreat is conceived as a private, hotel-like suite, opening toward expansive views across Bondi. Solid oak, custom terrazzo, and leather panelling form the foundation of the palette, layered with Venetian plaster and Belgian linen to deliver warmth, texture, and understated luxury throughout the home.
